The Empire of Sol was created as the result of The Blood War. It was a decade long encounter that resulted in the total annihilation of magic users within the continent. The Eternal Empress lead her empire to victory with her technological advances and a mind that could not be read. Every move was unpredictable and aimed with the intent to destroy.
That was many years ago and the Empire now thrives in a way they hadn’t ever expected to. The Empress is not so much an Empress as she is a God to her people. They worship her and the Sun which she calls her soul. She told her people were made from stardust and it is stardust she will become once again.
Some say the Sun consumed her while others state she had killed herself out of divine providence. Regardless, her body has not been found and the only thing that remains is her legacy of an empire.
